Our complete privacy policy is being finalized. In short: we collect only what's needed to run Sparkback for you (account info, your customers' submissions, billing data via Stripe). We don't sell your data to anyone, and we delete it on request.
Submissions, replies, and notes are retained for 30 days after a subscription ends, then permanently deleted along with the subdomain release.
Our free review-audit tool at /audit uses the Google Maps Platform Places API to look up your business's public Google rating and review count. When you run an audit, we send your business name to Google and receive the rating data back. We do NOT send your email or any other identifying information to Google as part of that lookup.
Your use of the audit tool is also subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Maps Platform Terms of Service. We cache only Google's opaque Place ID (permitted indefinitely under Google's terms) so repeat audits skip the paid resolution call; we do not cache ratings, review counts, or business display names.
